Background
Budget Rubber Stamps was a start up business when they first approached us. They had a concept and were looking for someone to transfer this concept into reality.
Assignment
Budget Rubber Stamps needed a new corporate image designed and a website with some complex customisations. Furthermore they required a web interface to be delivered as an end product that enables Budget Rubber Stamps customers to order stamp samples and a site admin to manage site content dynamically. The product was to be capable of handling multiple users and maintain databases integrity together with appropriate user authentication process.
Process
As the team began developing the shopping cart customisations, our designers began the process of designing a new logo. The logo was created in 3D so that the client could use the logo in animated form at a later date. After the logo had been approved, we needed to build a site template that not only looked attractive, but needed to accommodate the shopping cart facility. This was deceptively more difficult then anticipated. Once the template was approved, it was then passed to the database team who transformed it into a working shell and integrated it into the backend shopping cart. The final task, outside of adding the items to the cart, was to create the stamp templates to allow web users to be able to create their stamp samples online, before submitting their order. Once this was completed, it was time to go live.
We then needed to assist the client with their e-marketing. We had created the site with all the required search engine optimisations and began to submit the site to search engines. However, the client wanted to get immediate results so we employed a Google AdWords campaign. We helped the client create their campaign and showed them how to use the Google AdWords facility. We have continued to aid and assist the client with their e-marketing, producing some positive results.
